Montana Materials & Construction has built its business to be The Preferred Source of quality sand, rock, landscape products, ready-mixed concrete, asphalt, paving, and construction services. The company serves customers with the broadest range of construction materials and services across the Southwest Montana area. Our CRH Family employs nearly 2,500 people at over seventy locations in Utah, Idaho, Washington, and Oregon.

History
Founded in 1992 in Butte, Montana, H&H Contracting was incorporated in 1995. Locally owned and operated by Chris Hanson and Chris Hafer, the company was comprised of brothers, in-laws, and friends working together to accomplish the goal of offering the absolute best services to our clients.
H&H Contracting was started with personal savings and a small loan to purchase a backhoe and a small paving spread. Over many years, H&H Contracting grew into conducting large underground utility excavation, asphalt paving, site development, general excavation, and fencing projects.
In 2009, H&H acquired S&N Concrete & Materials to expand their product and service offerings into concrete, sand, and gravel. S&N is located in Anaconda, Montana, and has been serving the Southwest Montana area since the 1940s.
In 2023, both companies were acquired by CRH and rebranded as Montana Materials & Construction to allow operations of both companies under one name.
